Stiga…
One city that had sprung up around the massive ships that had slammed down into the planet. Five had staked down in the United States Territory. This one sat on the northern border between Florida and Alabama.
Humans still used the old designations, even some of the signage still sat around the areas. All of the Humans had been gathered up and given translator nanite injections and ID to eliminate language barriers.
But not every Human followed protocols now. Sure a majority became more than happy to accept Alien Viikate rule, about sixty percent said yes to it. Thirty percent rebel from time to time, thinking they can somehow take back the planet. The last ten percent had been where the mystery laid. They made their own laws and rules to live by.
The registration machine chimed with the ID inserted.
The screen read:
Ana Myles
Age: 30
Blonde Hair / Green Eyes.
5’ 8”
Thank you for registering and Welcome to Stiga.
She adjusted the blonde Taylor Swift style wig and tapped her toes on the pavement. When passing through somewhere that required registration and not wanting to be noticed, Fake IDs and Props helped. For the identity, she wore the blonde wig, green contact lenses, and black platform boots. For attire, she wore blue cropped pants and a big blue sweater over a teal t-shirt.
For now, Ana Russo would only respond to Ana Myles.
The easiest identity to act, one where the first names are the same. Ana Russo had four identities and used them to cross the country. She had made her way to the east coast to help an old friend, Galil, and now worked to get back home.
Like all the others that passed into the Viikate Cities, she walked to the town hall, I.E. the ship that staked in the ground, to grab some gossip.
The moment she arrived in the city square, she got forced into line by a pair of Human males. “Woah, what’s going on?”
The older of the two men spoke up, “General Tenoshi has ordered that all human women in this burg need to give genetic samples to determine if there is any genetic compatibility.”
“Why? I’m just passing through.”
“Shut up and just do it!” The two Human males stormed away.
Ana felt annoyed.
However, before could she slip away, she stopped.
The twelve Viikate marching down to the end of the line made her stay put. The notice a head at the in-take said, ‘All women, no exceptions.’
Ana growled under her breath.
The Viikate all stood between maybe six feet and eleven inches and seven feet and six inches in height. Their skin seemed to be that of copper and they possessed tiger stripes. That skin also was hard enough to break standard knives and stabbing weapons. Guns hurt them some, but their own tech could kill them.
These men wore uniforms of such and had laser rifles and energy blades on them.
“Excuse me, Viikate Solider?”
A teal blue short haired man with matching stripes, that stood about seven feet two, looked to Ana. “What is it?”
“I’m only passing through and have no idea what is going on. Can you please explain to me?” Ana knew that please usually worked with the guard types, at least if you were a girl. She didn’t fully understand why but chose to use it here.
He stepped over to her, “High Lord Tvictor had declared that all Human females on Earth be tested for genetic compatibility with the Viikate. Every Human woman in all cities where our ships are being tested, no exceptions.
“All they are doing involves a small amount of blood. It will be over in a moment.”
Ana swallowed. With that explanation, she had no choice. “Thank you.”
The line did go quick.
Before long, Ana stood at the front of the line. Oddly, they took blood and dismissed her…all with a prick to the flesh.
As she walked away, a teenage girl of fourteen had still been rattled with the shock of all of it.
This girl only stood five feet and an inch, she still had some growing to do. Her hair looked red. Her eyes green. She wore blue leggings, shirt, and boots. “Why are they doing this?”
Ana half smiled and whispered under her breath, “Because Humans as a whole are fucking idiots.”
As she reached the edge of the city square, two guards stepped toward the teenage girl in question…from before.
“Sara Tate!”
The girl turned around fearful.
Ana stopped.
The two guards took hold of the girl. The one on her left spoke to her, “You are genetically compatible to one…General Tenoshi.”
“NO! I”M JUST A HUMAN KID! NO!”
Ana knew the terms. Genetically compatible meant that Sarah Tate was to be the City Over Lord General’s newest human concubine. These Viikate bastards don’t give a rat’s ass about the fact that she is still a kid.
She stepped to the side and slid both hands under her bulky sweater and shirt. Two holsters resided there. Within, sat two specially crafted pistols…made with Viikate technology. Light enough for a human lady’s hands…this lady’s.
Ana unhooked the holsters and whipped them around from her back.
Two shots rang out, both Viikate took the shots to the throats with dark blue flashes of light. They released the girl and collapsed, dying in seconds with blue blood.
Sara stood in shock. A group of her friends stood with her.
“If you don’t want to be a Viikate Whore, run north now! The Christ Army is there, Christian Beliefs! They will keep you safe!”
Sara hesitated.
“Tell them…Ananimity sent you!”
The girls nodded and headed in that direction.
Other women who opposed the Genetic Compatibility Tests, followed the pack of teens north. About ten women total.
Ananimity kicked herself. She only wanted to pass through, not act all rebel like, but that is over now.
As guards ran toward her, Ananimity stepped to the left and took aim again. Each shot fired, struck it’s mark. The guards went down in two head shots, a neck shot, a chest shot, and a gut shot.
A sixth one ran at her and she fired again, hitting him between the eyes.
Fleeing people stood between her and other guards.
Ananimity cast her eyes up to see him.
General Tenoshi had been sounding the alarm and calling shots visibly from one of their silver disks.
From a pocket of her cargo pants, she pulled out an ear piece and pressed a glowing blue button on it. Slipping it on, it hacked the silver disk and took over.
She commanded it down with a mental thought to a foot off the ground, shocking the General. That’s when she fired again, twice.
The first shot struck his left ear, where his control device sat for the disk. The second shot struck his left shoulder, which spun him and knocked him off the disk.
Ananimity hopped onto the disk and took full control of it.
“You Bitch! Who are you?” The General sat on the ground.
“Call me Ananimity!” She fired one last time before holstering the guns again.
This shot struck his neither regions.
Controlling the disk through the device, Ananimity piloted higher, out of the guards reach. Then she directed it out of the city.
The director of Stiga, General of the Viikate Tenoshi: Died from his injuries.
Wanted: Ananimity for murder.
